You may be strolling around this blog for the first time and thinking...something doesn't look right here. What's missing? Pictures. I used to put pics of my kids on the blog...almost all mom bloggers do. I don't know though...something lately just has made me feel like I want to get their pics off the internet and keep them off. So if you didn't get the amazing blessing of seeing my adorable angel girls...sorry! I just feel like a more responsible parent keeping their pics off the net. What do you think?

Hi Heather, you can email me anytime with your question at divinedreamer1217@gmail.com
Deletenew follower! I totally agree! I decided when starting my blog that I am not going to put pics of my kids up, it's all public!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input. It is all public, and that is very scary. You may see I just changed my mind and posted one:). It's so hard to know what to do between making the blog personable and connectable and trying to protect and do the best for your kids. Ultimately the kids come first, so I'll take it down again if I feel I should. Just trying to "feel it out". :)
DeleteI think you should go with your instincts if it makes you feel better. My daughter felt that way for a bit so I did not share the grandkiddies pictures to the social media for a bit.I feel a few pictures would make your blog more personable and cute. I do not have any though but they would not be relevant to what I generally blog about. You can see them on Facebook.:D
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Yeah, I go back and forth. I just posted a new one of Anna. Just gonna listen to my instincts and see how I feel about it later as it's up a while.
DeleteI absolutely get nervous every time I post pics of my kids on my blog. I know I don't do it as often as I see other moms doing it on their blogs; it just doesn't make me very comfortable. And I absolutely never post bathtime pics or swim-time pics.
ReplyDeleteI think that's wise. It's so hard to know what to do! I just changed my mind and posted a pic of Anna again. I'm a little nervous but hopefully since it's not a bath or swim pic it will be okay. You think, surely with all the pics of kids on the net not all of them are being used badly...but then again should we take that chance? I wish it wasn't so hard! :) We gotta do what we gotta do but all in all I know we all want to protect our kids.
